Q: Do you offer the option to either purchase or lease?

A: Yes we do. Blue Ridge Security offers both options–a purchase option and a lease-to-own option.

Q: If I lease, do I own the equipment at the end of the lease?

A: Yes at the end of the term the ownership is transferred.

Q: How long is the term of the lease?

A: 60 months

Q: If I lease, am I still covered under warranty?

A: Yes. The warranty is included during the lease period.

Q: If I purchase a system do I have a warranty?

A: Yes, you will have a one year warranty with an option to purchase an extended warranty.

Q: Can I purchase a security system if I live in an apartment or if I’m renting a home?

A: Yes for both.

Q: Do you offer text messaging?

A: Yes. TotalControl by Blue Ridge Security allows you to receive and send text alerts for any system alarm.

Q: Will my alarm system communicate to Blue Ridge Security Central Station if I have voice over IP?

A: No, but you will have the ability to choose our BlueLink24 option.

Q: What other means of alarm communication do you offer besides the ordinary POTS line (telephone line)?

A: BlueLink24 gives you the option to use cellular, network, or radio communication.

Q: Where is my alarm monitored at?

A: Blue Ridge Security owns its own UL and FM certified central monitoring station located in Anderson, SC.

Q: Do you have a camera system? If so, can I access my camera system on my computer?

A: Yes we have a wide arrange of camera systems. You can access your camera system on your computer through our TotalControl option.

Q: Is the system wireless or will wires have to be run through my walls?

A: We offer both hardwire and wireless systems.

Q: Can I protect my AC unit?

A: Yes. We offer a wide variety of options to protect your AC units.
